Xzerra works by linking your fingerprint (Xzerra ID) to your
Xzerra wallet. This is done in 3 easy steps.

Download our app from App Store/Play Store.
Step 2
Top up your Xzerra wallet using Mobile Money carrier or
Debit/Credit Card.
Step 3
Visit any of our merchant partners and request to sign up for
your Xzerra ID. This is the part you link your fingerprint to
your wallet. You can find the Self-Service Guide in your App
settings.

You can download and create a Xzerra account for free however, you will be charged a 2% transaction fee per transaction.
Absolutely! Your fingerprints are encrypted to ensure maximum security.
You can find a list of our Merchant partners in your Xzerra app
by 'Tapping on the Location Icon ' at
the bottom right where you will find their location details and
more.

A Xzerra ID is the fingerprint associated with your Xzerra account.
Xzerra Codes are 5 unique mixed-characters that act as your secret key to your Xzerra account.
Your Xzerra Code can be used in various ways for example:
First scenario: Signing up for Xzerra ID
When signing up for your Xzerra ID, the first thing you input in
the Self-Service app is your Xzerra Code to verify and validate
your request to avoid fingerprint duplications in our system.
Second scenario: Second payment option
In the rare case your fingerprint fails, your Xzerra Code will
be the one you use to complete the payment.
Please don 't share your Xzerra Code.
Sure, you don 't need to be with your phone to pay with Xzerra. All your transactions are stored on your account to view at your convenience anytime anywhere.
Yes, our devices will still be able to recognise your fingerprint.
You can only register with one fingerprint and we highly recommend you register with your right or left thumb.
No. Signing up for your Xzerra ID is a one-time registration.
First ensure your fingerprint is not wet, dusty or covered
otherwise, it will fail.
In the rare case our devices fail to recognise your fingerprint,
you will be defaulted to use your Xzerra Code which can be found
in your application to complete the payment.
Please note: This feature is not yet available.
Yes, you will need an Internet connection to be able to view your real-time transactions and also make Top up requests using your Mobile Money or Debit/Credit Card.
